So much is still needed to furnish the Catechism rooms and the classrooms. The Church is simple and square, to symbolise the four Evangelists.TODAY, THE NEW CATHOLIC CHURCH located at the Olgiata South entrance, was inaugurated and dedicated to St Peter and Paul. Bishop gino Reali, from the Diocesis of Porto Santa Rufina, presided the Holy Mass accompanied by the Chancellor and numerous Priests from the Diocesis, (the largest in Rome) and initiated the new Parish Priest, Father Pietro, a young 38 year old Northern Italian from Reggio Emilia who is not only at his first arms as a Parish Priest, but such an important Parish and brand new, just newly built.
The service lasted more than three hours and a huge crowd accompanied the ceremony.
Tomorrow, Sunday, the first Sunday Mass will start at 10.30.
