WELCOME NEIGHBOR ORINTATION BUFFET

What a great and international crowd gathered yesterday at Paula Treu's villa in Olgiata to set off yet another Welcome Neighbor year, the 30th to e exact.  In fact, this year Welcome Neighbor celebrates its 30th year anniversary, since it was founded by our lovely friend Yolanda bernardini, an Italian American who now devides her time between Florida and Rome.  This way, and not a bad idea at all, she always gets sunshine!
The pot luck buffet was amazingly international  yesterday, covering countries from North and South Africa, Australia, Madagascar, PerĂ¹, Brazil, The United States, Canada, France, Spain, the UK, Switzerland, germany, Russia, Iceland and many more.
Welcome Neighbor brings people together and by sharing a meal, everyone connects and great friendships are found.
The left over food was taken to Casa Monti on Via Cassia, a home for terminally ill patients.
Next meeting in October, on Via Orti della Farnesina.  Check out our Facebook page to under Welcome Neighbor Rome.
And … a big Welcome to all newcomers and Welcome back to old comers!
