AN ADOPTION IN FAVOR OF THE ENVIRONMENT

 

On Saturday, March 4th at 9:30  we wish to invite you to  Via Antonio Labranca at the  Sacrario di La Storta so as to give way to the cleaning of this area which Vivi Vejo  will carry out with the adoption of this Memorial Monument and green area.  It is with enthusiasm and determination that     Vivi Vejo has taken on the task of looking after this site which was created in memory of men who spilled their blood during the war.  A narrow staircase  leads up to a small hill   where we find two stones, a large one and a smaller one which was added just a few years ago when the name of the British solder who had died there was disclosed by the British authorities.  Every year the British Ambassador lays a wreathe in order not to forget the British soldier's  sacrifice. †

We invite all residents of Northern Rome and Cassia and the surrounding area to join Vivi vejo and the Scouts    on Saturday March 4th at 9:30 to clean the La Storta Memorial and to remember together what a great gift life is.
