Subject: WILD BOAR SURVEY

The Vivi Vejo Association has been asked by the City of Rome Administration to run a survey on any testimony anyone might give regarding the over population of wild boars in the Northern Rome area.
Large families of wild boars have been spotted and "run into " from Campagnano to Via Due Ponti, not so far from the very centre of the City.
There have been reports of wild boar attacks on house pets as well as people.  The children from one of the schools in La Giustiniana have been kept in doors during recess due to the presence of wild boars and the gardener was attacked while trying to fight off one of these animals.  One reports a car crash on Via Cassia between Olgiata and Le Rughe while hitting a wild boar who had stopped in the middle of the dark street at 7pm at night in November.
If yu, or any one you know, have witnessed any incidents, please write to: info@vivivejo.it or reply to this e-mail.
Cordially,
Paula Treu
President, Vivi Vejo ONLUS
