The Vivi Vejo ONLUS has requested a new and proper sidewalk along via Cassia from the Olgiata North gate to the corner of Via Cassia and Via Bragaglia. Today we have received an answer from the 7 Department which has considered the request and is sending it on to the 12th Department, as this stretch along Via Cassia presents a problem along about 50 m., where there is no room for a sidewalk and a bridge should be build.
Well, this is the way Italian burocracy goes, but at least they are considering our request. considering the number of people who walk along that stretch of Via Cassia from the bus stop to the Main gate of Olgiata, it is a miracle that noone has been injured yet. Hopefully, the authorities will manage to reach a decision soon enough.
