ROME MARATHON TICKETS AVAILABLE

Vivi Vejo onlus is once again taking part in the Roma Fun, the 5k fund raising walk within the Rome Marathon on March 22nd.
There are still tickets available at 10 Euros each.  You may book your tickets by sending an e-mail to info@vivivejo.org.
Vivi Vejo will also have a stand at the Marathon village on Thursday, Friday and Saturday prior to the Marathon, together will lots of other very worthy NGOs.
It's worth a visit to the Marathon village, as thousands of runners from all over the world come to pick up their gear and you may meet all the sponsors too.
For  a few years now Vivi Vejo has been organising trainings for new volunteers to assist blind people in Rome and is quite active assisting the blind, as well as supplying volunteer teachers to public schools to teach Italian to immigrant children;  vivi Vejo is quite sensitive to the environment and organises conferences in schools to educate children and ecological Sunday to clean up the trash left by too many rude people
This year, paraolympic swimming  champion Fabrizio Sottile is leading the Vivi Vejo group in the 5 K walk in Rome.  Fabrizio is affected by LHON, Leber's Hereditary Optic Neuropathy, a very rare mitocondrial disease whiche leads to being legally blind. .
