Hamlet at the Rome English Theatre

In celebration of the 400th Anniversary of Shakespeare's death, The English Theatre of Rome is offering a production of "Hamlet" that demonstrates how far we've come theatrically since the Bard penned his greatest tragedy. Remember, Elizabethans used all male actors.
Well, Douglas Dean is directìing "Hamlet" with an all female cast - not as a political statement or gimmick but true to the tone and text of the play and with traditional staging. This should be really worth attending, and I'm so excited I'm already planning to go twice. It opens only ten days from now!
